Did the CIPRES Science Gateway help you get something important done? Submit your story, and we will post it. You can tell your story by following this link and posting a few sentences about your discovery. Imagine you are explaining to a US Senator why the work you are doing is exciting and important, describing the results in language appropriate for the general public. We will post a new story each month on the CSG web site and relate the information you provide to our funding agencies.

Look for posted stories to appear beginning in May, 2012. We will also circulate these stories through SDSC press releases and progress reports to organizations such as XSEDE that support the CSG. Not only will this spread the word about individual scientific discoveries, it will help show the folks who generously fund the CSG that they are supporting exciting scientific discoveries. (Currently our funding comes from the US National Science Foundation, which supports both our web application and provides allocations of computational time from the XSEDE project).
