We have implemented a new file transfer mechanism that allows users to move files through Globus. This should be particularly beneficial when large (100 mb+) file transfers are required. Globus allows you to continue working while your file transfers go on in the background. To use Globus, one must install a Globus Connect Personal Endpoint on your local machine. Details can be found under the Globus tab in the CIPRES user interface.
