In the Achyranthes clade, genera Achyropsis and Nototrichium are merged to make Achyranthes monophyletic. A taxonomic backbone with full synonymy for the achyranthoid subclade II is provided.
A new genus and species of the Anguinidae nematode, Turbiditylenchus corticeus n. gen., n. sp., was isolated from the bark of Eucalyptus macrorhyncha from southeastern Australia.
